Physicist. Studies VLF range whistler
waves and their relation to aurora.
In conjunction with the Sodankylä
Geophysical Observatory has constructed VLF instrumentation. Responsible
for VLF measurements in Finland, and has organized some major
measurement campaigns
(see list of
measurements). Presently working with PLHR (Power
Line Harmonic Radiation) and the association between VLF waves and pulsating
aurorae using the heating facility at
EISCAT.
